Bruce Davis - Chief Executive Officer
Meet our CEO.
Mr. Davis has an extensive background managing profitable companies delivering total learning solutions. Most recently Mr. Davis served as Principal of Sylvan Ventures, an investment arm of Sylvan Learning Systems. At the Sylvan parent company, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology; Vice President of the Academic Services Business Unit; and Director of International Planning. He was also Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Thomson Prometric, a leading provider of technology-based testing and assessment services.

Simmy Ziv-el - Senior Vice President, Education
Mr. Ziv-el is the Founder and President of Discourse Technologies, which was acquired by Mindsurf Networks in June 2001. For the past 10 years, he has been building, testing, and marketing teaching and learning applications specifically designed for the one-to-one classroom environment. Mr. Ziv-el worked in education in South Africa and Israel for 15 years before moving to the U.S. in 1991.

Dean Kephart - Senior Vice President, Product Marketing
Mr. Kephart has nearly three decades of experience in marketing education and training. Raised by parents who were teachers, he began his career as a high school English and speech teacher. Since leaving the classroom, he has held a number of positions in the education and technology software arena, including Director of Marketing for PLATO and Director of Marketing Communications for MECC. He also served as Senior Vice President for Connors Communications, where his clients included the Learning Company, AOL, Encyclopedia Britannica, and National Geographic.

Andrew Spicer - Senior Vice President, Technology
Mr. Spicer most recently served as Chief Technology Officer at Primeoutlets.com. As Division Chief Technology Officer and Director of Financial Consultant Channel Development for Merrill Lynch, he developed the firm's online trading system, managed the IT organization responsible for the firm's brokerage systems, and handled applications management for its public-transaction website.

Mickey Revenaugh - Vice President, Product Planning & Research
Ms. Revenaugh helped launch the multibillion-dollar national E-Rate program, serving as Vice President for Outreach and Education during the program's crucial start-up years. At Scholastic, Inc., she served as Editor in Chief of Electronic Learning, Teaching and Computers, Instructor, MiddleYears, and America's Agenda magazines. Her educational background extends to Broadband Networks, Inc., where she was K-16 Marketing Director, and to the Microsoft Classroom Teacher Network, where she created online educational content. She also developed print publishing projects with Gateway, Scholastic, the Marco Polo Initiative, and other education technology enterprises.
